Farm House / 2022

On the hillside of a large meadow, is a rundown farmhouse surrounded with trees. The nice weather allows the sun to shine just at the right spots making the greenery look very inviting. With oil paint and some brushes, the texture of the grass and rustiness of the farmhouse are slowly but carefully created. To further add to the beauty of this view that I see in front of me, strings are added to the wooden fence. The abundance of daisies on the grass and trees on the mountain brought the image that I so clearly remembered back to life.

Appreciating nature with the daisies created so beautifully by nature, the farmhouse, although rundown, is a relaxing and peaceful place to be in. I hope my painting encourages viewers to look for their inner peace when facing difficult life situations. Everyone should find an opportunity to take a break and have a moment to reflect on the beauty of nature all around us as it is limited and can all be gone one day. As the saying goes, “change your expectation for appreciation and the world changes instantly”.
