Human Abilities / 2024

In this piece titled “Human Abilities”, is a portrait of myself. My talent is visual arts, but each and every human being is talented with something. It may be the same talent as myself, or other activities such as sports, engineering, designing, cooking and so many more. I painted this artwork to show the immense intelligence our human race possesses. I’m in awe of what our ancestors have built, discovered or invented. I’m also in awe of what the future generation might bring as we are already building flying cars, intelligent robots or emergency mechanics for home use.

I painted this portrait of myself to remind myself that I am so much more than an artist. We are more than what we are talented in. Our capabilities are only limited by our own laziness or unwillingness to learn. For anyone who views this piece, I hope it can motivate them to try something new and not limit themselves.
