Light In The Shadow Dragon

This painting is about a story I created. Standing in the middle of the clearing, it shows a shadow dragon staring at a little hero, perplexed by how the little hero is not afraid of him, who is clearly thousands of times his size. The shadow dragon, opening up his wings wanting to show his true power, looked towards the little hero for a reaction. Sensing no response, the shadow dragon relaxed a little. Both seeming to understand that neither of them want to fight, they stared at each other, both slowly coming to respect each other despite being enemies.

This artwork is meant to encourage us to stand up for ourselves and overcome our fears. It shows that there is hope and light in our spirits. We are our own heroes, capable of defeating the dark side within us and not letting it control our mood. Dragons can be wise and kind, but some can be evil and dark. Don’t let the dark side take over. Be fearless and overcome the fear of being unkind. There’s no reason to let your dark side take control, as it could hurt the people you care about. As the saying goes, “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is to be understood.”
